Dianne Smeehuyzen
Accounts Receivable
Dianne joined the Accounts Receivable team in June 2019. Learning about a compliance based business has been a big learning curve and a good challenge, and Dianne believes it goes to show you can teach an old dog new tricks. Dianne enjoys connecting with stakeholders like clients, staff and management.
Over her 40 year plus career Dianne has worked in many administrative accounts roles, including with a law firm, stationery wholesaler and accounting practice. In her earlier life, Dianne qualified as a Baker, progressing right through to Foreman and Office Manager with multiple retail outlets. This is a skill appreciated by the TMC staff, as delicious treats sometimes make their way from Dianne’s kitchen to work!
Outside of work Dianne has held administrative roles in Netball and Brass Band. She is a Life Member and past President of Brass Band New Zealand and still actively involved. Her main volunteer role is now as a Justice of the Peace for her community. In 2020, Dianne was awarded the MNZM under the New Zealand Order of Merit honours, for services to brass band.
